Twitter appears to have removed its Apple Watch app from the App Store, as spotted by MacRumors. Twitter’s latest update to version 7.8 was supposed to fix a photo bug, but it made its listing vanish from the App Store; the app’s landing page no longer references Watch support. Users reportedly have experienced the app crashing and having trouble displaying the Twitter icon on the watchface after watchOS4 launched.

In a statement to The Verge, Twitter didn’t address the issue head-on, but said, “We heard from people that notifications were the most helpful part of the Apple Watch Twitter experience. With this, we are focusing on supporting more robust, media-rich notifications.”
