Amazon has slashed its subscription fee for Amazon Music Unlimited to $4.99 per month for students, as spotted by TechCrunch. Amazon is also offering Music Unlimited at an even cheaper rate for Prime Student subscribers — at $6 for 6 months. The discounts are available for university students starting from today, and is a substantial discount off the $9.99 Amazon charges for non-Prime customers. Prime customers currently pay $7.99 per month.

Amazon’s Music Unlimited was launched in late 2016 as a competitor to other on-demand music streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify.
